Also this one can be VERY Usefull and Very good for players having FUN On the Server.
Firstly, i thinked so. a GM Only (Admin ONLY) Script that can play Music (Hotlink URL) That plays the Music for ALL Players. (Dialog Based)
Second is, a Command like
/mp3 or /music
And a Dialog List should pop-up and Saying with Different awesome Colours like
Music Category
MP3 Player (URL) [THIS Script will play the Music just for that player only)
Stop Music [And a CMD like /stopmusic That stops the music)
All these should be Dialog based, because dialog can be easier to code, and more modern outlook. These Nowadays people almost uses dialog, It is a lot more popular and Click-able Textdraws (very usefull)
If the Player/Admin chooses Music Category, the player can be prompted with an Dialog List with these Functions
Hip-Hop
Dubstep
Metal
Hard Rock
Classic
Jazz
Pop
And example player choose Dubstep, it can pop-up all the Dubstep Musics (I know a lot Good Dubstep, might can give some good Dubstep Songs)
And NO, Adding URL's to the PAWNO will take it a lot time, instead, making an MySQL + PHP Based (Little MySQL and PHP Knowledge would be enought) and +60 IQ HEHE Kidding.
Adding a Folder to the Website FTP on www Category or Public_HTML, like this
mp3dubstep
This will look like so
Www.YG-Gaming.Com/mp3dubstep (It will be Case Sensitive, so writing carefully is important)
And then, you should be prompted with an Music Name and the HOTLINK URL (I know some GOOD MP3 Music Websites, that doesn't remove's your Musics, i got an account that is over 1 year old, and my all musics still work ^^)
Finding a good MP3 Website that provides HOTLINK isn't easy, these days, people tries selling special Memberships like "BUY Membership and get UNMETERED Bandwidth)
bla bla, when there is a FREE and BETTER Quality + Service.
This will be awesome, i see the Game Mode is really Good Scripted, so it should be no problem for you guys.
There is a same script on the internet, but the category etc as i said, is not Same, but if you edit it little and editting MySQL DB and/or Table etc etc... the PAWN etc CMD's dialog etc... Would be good, (IF You Admins want to thank to the Scripter, you can add his/her Nickname/Name to any of the script.)
I don't care these credit things, just wanted to public my Idea, because that script only got 1 Category, which is only when you type the CMD, it pop up's you musics on the table.
So many people now wonders, how does the Script work, how can it be easier?
Well the files to putting to www directory in the "mp3dubstep" can be enough, the website should say "MP3 Name" and "MP3 Link" Adding these things, will be added to the Server INSTANTLY, and it WON'T Use your MySQL, if you need a Free MySQL, it is ok, no problem, because the website you get the Host, includes that even FREE!!
+ You WON'T Use more then 1MB of space of the MySQL Database, Because you are only adding text's on the Tables so text's doesn't take well MB right?
The Server should follow the MySQL Table, and reading the MySQL Tables, it is actually easy for a guy who know PHP MySQL and little MySQL Script codes.
By the Website, you are providing the name and Hotlink URL, and the Server follows these codes and table's.
If the MySQL Service is Offline, the script won't react to anything, not even the dialog will pop-up, cuz everything is with MySQL Based.
And when a Player clicks a song, it request's the Hotlink URL That you Added from the Website, so it reads as Audio Player it reads the Hotlink.
However, i can provide a more detailed information about this if you Admins/Manager's are Interested. This will really affect the Server Statics.
